About Us

She is very kind and just gets on with the job. I am very pleased to have Crossroads Care

Crossroads Care Gloucestershire is a registered Charity that has been providing vital respite breaks to unpaid Carers and individuals with care needs in Gloucestershire for over 40 years. Our core purpose is to improve the quality of life of unpaid Carers and the people for whom they care by providing high quality care services that meet individual’s needs and support their health and well-being.

We do this by offering a range of care services to enable them to take a break from their caring responsibilities, with the peace of mind that comes from the knowledge that the person with care needs is in the trustworthy, reliable and professionally trained hands of our Care Support Workers.

Our services operate across Gloucestershire and districts of: Stroud, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Cotswold, Forest of Dean and Gloucester.

Services Include

  • Funded respite breaks for carers provided through our partnership with Gloucestershire Carers Hub.
  • Self funded support through our Care at Home service. Individualised, home-based support that helps people requiring care to remain as independent as possible.
  • Azalea Day clubs provide an opportunity for people to socialise with others, make friends and have fun in a safe and supported environment, while the family carer takes a break..
  • Caring Workplaces – support for carers who are juggling work with looking after a family member who has care needs.

Together, we can help more Carers make a life of their own outside of caring.

It is a lifesaver! It’s very stressful without a break and you can get very low. Crossroads gives me time to myself and Geoff time with someone who can concentrate on his needs

Our Services Team

At the heart of everything we do remains our intention to provide the best quality service to carers and those they support, where people can be assured of receiving a prompt and tailored service to meet their needs and to keep abreast of new developments to support carers.
